Le Grenier des Rousses

These general conditions of sale are intended for the use of the reservation of stays in guest rooms / group accommodation at Grenier des Rousses, 6435 route Internationale, 39220 Les Rousses. They constitute a reservation contract between the Grenier des Rousses and the client of a stay in a bed and breakfast.

Article 1: object

This contract is intended for the exclusive use of the reservation of stays in guest rooms. The best welcome will be reserved for our guests.The owners of Le Grenier des Rousses undertake to personally welcome holidaymakers with all the desirable attentions to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.

Article 2 - Duration of stay

The client signatory to this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

Article 3 - Conclusion of the contract

The reservation becomes effective when the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the price of the stay or stopover, with a minimum of one night per room selected.

After receiving your deposit, we will send you a written confirmation by e-mail. Once the deposit has been paid, the reservation becomes firm. By paying the deposit, you confirm your full agreement with our general conditions.If the deposit is not paid, we will unfortunately not be able to confirm your reservation and it will be considered void. We then reserve the right to recover the room.

Prices are inclusive of all charges, excluding tourist tax (to be paid on site).

Article 4 - Rates

The prices indicated on the website www.legrenierdesrousses.fr are confirmed to the customer in the amount inclusive of tax, in the commercial currency of the establishment, and are only valid for the duration and type of room selected.

All reservations, whatever their origin, are payable in the local currency of the establishment, unless specific provisions are indicated on site. Unless otherwise stated, additional services are not included in the price. Taxes (local taxes, tourist taxes, etc.) are to be paid directly on site to the establishment.The prices take into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order and any change in the rate applicable to VAT will be automatically passed on to the prices indicated on the date of invoicing. Any modification or introduction of new legal or regulatory taxes imposed by the competent authorities will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated on the date of invoicing.

Article 5 - Cancellation of the stay by the client

a) Modification: any modification is only possible with the agreement of the ""Grenier des Rousses"" and may entail additional costs.

b) Cancellation before arrival at Grenier des Rousses

In the event of cancellation of the reservation before the start of the stay, an indemnity fixed as follows will be due:

If the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the date of arrival, the deposit will be refunded in full

If the cancellation occurs 15 days or less before the date of arrival, the deposit will be retained by the owner

The cancellation of a service or stay by the customer due to bad weather or lack of snow is the sole responsibility of the customer. No refund can be claimed and the usual cancellation/modification conditions will apply.

c) no-show of the client

If the client does not appear before 7:30 p.m. on the day the contract begins, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of the room. The deposit also remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim payment of the balance of the stay.

d) early departure

In case of early departure during the stay: the total payment of the service is retained by the owner. No refund will be made.

Article 5 - absence of withdrawal

For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the customer does not benefit from any withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to accommodation services provided to a date or according to a determined periodicity.

Article 6 - cancellation by the owner

When before the beginning of the stay, the owner cancels this stay, he must inform the client as soon as possible by email or registered letter. The customer, without prejudging recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be immediately reimbursed for the sums paid. He will also receive compensation at least equal to the penalty he would have incurred if the cancellation had been made by him on that date.

Article 7 - cancellation insurance

We draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our prices. We strongly recommend that our customers take out one.

Article 8 - arrival time

The customer must arrive on the day specified when booking, no earlier than 5 p.m. (time of availability of rooms and handing over of keys) and no later than 7:30 p.m. The customer must notify the owner by telephone (number listed on the website www.legrenierdesrousses.fr), if by force of circumstance, he is forced to arrive after this time slot. If we cannot accommodate you, we will leave you the key available and will give you the necessary directions.

Article 9 - departure time

Check-out time is 10 a.m. at the latest. From 11 a.m., an additional night may be charged.

Article 10 - payment of the accommodation balance

The payment of the balance is payable on arrival of the customer or at the latest the next day before 12h. Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract will be payable at the end of the stay to the owner.

Article 11 - tourist tax

The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay on site to the owner who then transfers it to the Public Treasury.

Article 12 - change of room

Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer for a room of the same capacity or a higher capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.

Article 13 - capacity

This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owner is able to refuse the additional customers. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of contract on the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.

Article 14 - pets

Pets are not allowed. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the client's departure, no refund can be considered.

Article 15 - non-smoking establishment

The entire guest house is non-smoking.In order to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of the guests of the Grenier des Rousses, it is requested in particular not to smoke or vape inside the rooms and common areas. Failure to comply with these rules may result in an additional cleaning fee equivalent to the price of one night for the period concerned.

Article 16 - lifestyle, use of premises

Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of its guests. The customer undertakes to return his room in perfect condition at the end of his stay, to systematically declare any damage for which he is responsible and to assume the repairs and their possible cost. It is specified that unless otherwise stated, the kitchen is not left at the free disposal of guests. No meals can be taken in the rooms. The private parts are not left to the free disposal of the customers.Any behavior contrary to morality and public order will lead the establishment to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and/or without any refund.

Article 17 - minors

Guests' attention is drawn to the fact that minors living on the property are placed under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them.

Article 18 - Force majeure

Force majeure means any event external to the parties that is both unpredictable and insurmountable and prevents either the customer or the establishment from fulfilling all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract. Are considered as cases of force majeure or fortuitous event those usually recognized by the jurisprudence of the French Courts and Tribunals.Each party cannot be held liable to the other party in the event of non-performance of its obligations resulting from an event of force majeure. It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends, for the parties, the performance of their reciprocal obligations and that each party bears the cost of the resulting costs.

Article 19 - complaints

Complaints relating to the non-performance or poor performance of the reserved services must, under penalty of foreclosure, be brought to the attention of the owners in writing within eight days after the date of departure from the establishment.

Article 20 - Liability

Le Grenier des Rousses cannot be held liable in the event of loss, forgetting or damage to personal effects during the stay of its guests. The photographs presented on our booking platform are not contractual.Even if all the best efforts are made so that the photographs, graphic representations and the texts reproduced to illustrate the establishments presented give as accurate an overview as possible of the services offered, variations may occur between the time of the reservation and the day of the reservation. consumption of the service. Article 21 - Data Protection Act

In accordance with law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. We make a commitment not to transmit in any case the information which you communicated to us with other companies or organizations.

Article 22 - Acceptance of these conditions of sale

The payment of the deposit is valid for acceptance of these conditions of sale.

Parking is free and private. In order not to disturb the other occupants, we ask that you do not park with your motors under the windows.


Many games, books and activities are available to you free of charge. They must be returned in the same condition as when they were made available to you. Any damage/incident must be reported to us.

Internet: The WIFI network covers a large part of the building. We will provide you with your access codes free of charge when you arrive. Our guests are responsible for the use of the internet access made available to them during the rental period and for their browsing. Le Grenier des Rousses cannot be held responsible in the event of a breakdown, a problem related to customer equipment, or reprehensible use.
